Country Joe McDonald, Tribute to Woody Guthrie, Somerton, UK, Apr 14, 2006 (Divx Video)

With Woody Guthrie's birthday coming up next week, I decided to put up something special:

Country Joe McDonald's
"Tribute to Woody Guthrie",
filmed (with his permission) during a performance at The Unicorn Hotel, Somerton, UK, Apr 14, 2006.

Technical Information:
Recorded just right of centre, front row by mc.
Transfer, editing, photos & artwork by boombox

Lineage:
Panasonic NV-DX100 Mini DV camera w/ Philmore DC200 Super Cardiod Mic > ULead DVD Movie factory 5

NOTE:
This seems to be a rather early version of Country Joe's Woody Guthrie tribute. A far more complete version is officially available as a two-CD set (recorded at Noe Valley Ministry, San Francisco, on May 12, 2007) and can/should be purchased directly from The Country Store.

COUNTRY JOE: I got the idea to record an album with Blair Hardman because I was leaving my friends in LA. We went to Custom Fidelity Records at 116 So. Euclid Ave., in Pasadena, California and recorded ten songs to be pressed into an LP. Ten LP’s were pressed and Blair got five and I got five.
